Bring an offering to the lord :
> no defects or yeast
> slaughter sacrifice or splatter blood
> wash with water, poor with oil or remove
> burn on the altar
Isaiah 9:6
[6] For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Ephesians 2:14-16
[14] For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. [15] He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups. [16] Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.
[ 1 ] Jesus is our peace
- Let's look upon Jesus and be like him
Ephesians 2:18
[18] Now all of us can come to the Father through the same Holy Spirit because of what Christ has done for us.
Romans 5:1
[1] Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Hebrews 12:14
[14] Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
[ 2 ] We are at peace with GOD
- Let's strive to live a holy life
Ephesians 2:17
[17] He brought this Good News of peace to you Gentiles who were far away from him, and peace to the Jews who were near.
Ephesians 6:15
[15] For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
[ 3 ] We are called to share the gospel of peace
- Let's be ambassadors of christ
Hebrews 12:14
[14] Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.
Matthew 5:9
[9] God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.
Mark 9:50
[50] Salt is good for seasoning. But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again? You must have the qualities of salt among yourselves and live in peace with each other.”
[ 4 ] We are to live in peace
